These Kenwoods are among the rarest of speakers ever produced, having a MSRP of $2600 in 1975 and finishing run in 1977 @ $2900. Designed and built by Kenwood with their own drivers. The woofers weigh 25 Lbs and have a Japanese Kenwood Tech signature on the backside of cone. The cabinets weigh a back-breaking 130 lbs each! They are constructed of 1.75" thick solid Lumber core and have the same triple crosslaid type baffle as their US sibling, my LS-408B's. None of them were sold in the US. They were hailed at the time of their introduction by audio labs as "The most accurate and "real" sounding speakers ever produced. I will post a picture of the Crossover later, to show how well built it is. This photo is from the thread "Hello Everyone, I am new to this Site" in the AudioReview Forums.
