This image shows a 65" plasma screen, approximately 15' from the sweet spot (room is 28'x24' with cathedral ceiling). The plasma is mounted above the couch, so I was concerned that the viewer might have to crane their neck, or eyes at least, to watch a movie. However, even a 65" plasma falls within the +/- 15° THX vertical viewing tolerance limit, ensuring that this will not cause viewer fatigue. NOTE: The THX horizontal viewing limit is 40° LEFT to RIGHT. My speakers are at 45° LEFT to RIGHT, so you can see I could go a lot bigger with my display - 150" Plasma in my future? Maybe when they are < $5000! FYI - The subwoofer shown under the large window is an ED A7-900, a 435lb monster with 2x18" drivers. I do not own this sub, but for a time I was dreaming about it.
