I think I have the same Technics turntable as you do. Mine is a Quartz drive and I added a Shure cartridge to it back in 1981ish. It cost me more than the table, at the time. Are the newer catridges like your Denon a lot better than the older technology? I have not kept up with the analog world for a long while so excuse my ignorance.

Do you stll spin a lot of vinyl?

I am sad to say, I do not although I am still in the process of replacing my albums with CDs. I have since moved the turntable to the master bedroom and they perform occasional two channel duty with my Atlec Valencias.

Pretty cool. Who knows, maybe you'll endup keepin it after you get your SF preamp. I'm not encouranging anything though.
I miss the sound of 110. I think I'll install it when I move into my apartment on saturday. Are you using the steel plate that came with your DL? I just noticed it last week...didnt even know it came with it. LOL

I'm wondering, do you think I can buy your Zapper for a sensible price when you do decide to sell your analog setup? I figure that's still good for at least 20 more years. Let us know about your pre, I know you will.
