Description}: My speaker, already 7 years old but still doing great, this speaker produces a wide and deep soundstage, clean and clear midrange, obviously deep bass is missing but I don't really care, my room is too small for a big speaker anyway. The stands are made by Empire ( German I believe ) and are filled with sand. The speakers are bi-wired using Qed Silver Anniversary. The speakers are 40cm from the back wall, 3 metres apart and toed in toward the listening seat.

Kimber Kable Powerkord

Description}: Kimber Kable powerkord fitted with the huge wattgate 320 ( which is absolutely huge as you can see on the picture ). I was very sceptic about power cables before but this cable really is one of the best upgrades I have ever made and it's effect on the sound is pretty unbelievable. I still don't understand why a Powercord can make such a big difference, sure it's rejects some electro-magnetic interference and has better connectors but that still doesn't explain why it had such a big influence on the sound of my system, high frequency hash has been reduced, treble sounds much sweeter, bass is deeper and firmer, individual instruments are better seperated and the soundstage is deeper.

Description}: Hi, this is my new Cd-player which has replaced my old Marantz and Musical Fidelity Combo. I have replaced the stock powercord with a Kimber Kable Powercord which had a huge impact on the sound, I was very sceptic at first about powercords, but the sound has improved quite a lot. High frequency hash has been reduced, treble sounds much sweeter, bass is deeper and firmer, individual instruments are better seperated and the soundstage is deeper.
