I have a built in wall shelf above my listening postion. I am toying with the idea of placing them horizonally and tilted down at the room. This will allow the bipolor effect to work and give me some distance from my surrounds. I don't know if the subs built into the speakers will sound good 8 feet off the ground but I am just thinking about it.

2 comments http://gallery.audioreview.com/showphoto.php?photo=1597&title=my-sweet-spot&cat=500 http://gallery.audioreview.com/showphoto.php?photo=1597&title=my-sweet-spot&cat=500 Sun, 12 Feb 2006 12:57:46 -0500 Couch potatoes accessories

by: bittersfamily

Description}: This is an older system that still sounds awesome. I placed the center speaker's Subwoofer on top of the TV so all the center channels sound is coming from the same location. It does sound more natural. I spread the fronts out, and toed them in a bit. Rear speakers are in the same location. Here is a list of my system. System is not set as I would like as my chair seen in the lower left is not even close to any sweet spot. With that being said I did not toe in the speakers. I aimed them straight forward so they would cover more of the room. We just bought new furnature, so wife choose a new location for our new furnature. This system sounded much better with it installed on the long end of the room. The bass sounded much better. Had to place the surrounds right next to me and the wall. For this location I am shooting the mids and highs along the back wall with subs pointed out.

1 comment http://gallery.audioreview.com/showphoto.php?photo=349&title=definitive-technology-bp-2002tl-in-back&cat=500 http://gallery.audioreview.com/showphoto.php?photo=349&title=definitive-technology-bp-2002tl-in-back&cat=500 Sun, 10 Oct 2004 16:50:10 -0400 Six amplified subwoofers system

by: bittersfamily

Description}: To my ears this system rocks!
