The design of my townhouse is a little wierd, and this was the best that I could do, spacing wise. I just bought the tv a couple of months ago (highly recommended), and I knew that by getting this big of a tv, I would be severely cramming my wall. Buuuut, I figure that I'll be moving into a bigger place in a couple of years, so why not start off with something nice?? I would really like to move the subwoofer to the back wall in a corner, but it is a wall that I share with my neighbor, and I don't think that he'd appreciate 500watts rattling his dishes all day (i've tried placing the sub there, and vibrations are significantly worse). Off to the right is a window where it would be absolutely PERFECT to rearrange all of this, but it's the only window in the room and I don't want to block out all the light! It's a life of trade-offs. Also, I'm thinking of trading in my yamaha RX-V3000 for a Pioneer Elite 55. Any thoughts on that? Main reason is that mine doesn't have DTS 6.1 discreet (matrix), no dolby prologic II, and yamahas have an automatic frequency crossover (for all channels) that is preset at 90hz...i would like for my front channels to take some of that burden away. Also have the urge for some HDTV. Dish Network or Direct TV??? What's a good HD settop box? Thanks for viewing and for any thoughts. <br /><br />8 comments http://gallery.audioreview.com/showphoto.php?photo=168&title=ricco-s-pad&cat=2 http://gallery.audioreview.com/showphoto.php?photo=168&title=ricco-s-pad&cat=2 Sat, 31 Jul 2004 00:52:09 -0400
