Description}: View of stands and speaker placement. Alignment done to ITU multichannel reference placement, and Dolby surround speaker placement guidelines. ITU reference: main speakers 30 degrees offset from center of listening position, surround speakers 110 degrees offset from center of listening position. All speakers equidistant from listening position (increase delay timing to correct for differences in distance: 1 ms for every 1 foot difference) [img]http://www.soundstage.com/surrounded/pics/200307_itu.gif[/img] Dolby guideline: for systems used for both movies and multichannel music, the speakers should be elevated approximately 2' above ear level and directly pointed towards each other. (My speakers are about 1.5' above ear level)
